Part-time/Salaried GPs Required. The Cedars Surgery, Worle (near Weston-super-Mare)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join two well-established PMS practices with a combined patient list of approximately 15,400. We serve a population with a good mix of age groups who come from a variety of economic backgrounds.
About the team
We are a friendly and forward-thinking team, hoping to attract dynamic and innovative GPs. We would welcome creativity, allowing us to meet the increasing demands on general practice. We pride ourselves on our ability to provide excellent patient care whilst maintaining an attractive work-life balance.
The clinical workforce includes one GP partner, six salaried doctors, three nurse practitioners, five practice nurses and three healthcare assistants, all supported by committed reception and administrative teams. We are a training practice, so there is a regular flow of GP trainees and medical students.
About the location
The practices are located less than half a mile from each other in the pleasant village of Worle, near Weston-super-Mare. The practices are situated just over a mile from junction 21 on the M5, so the practices are easily-commutable from Bristol, which is just 30 minutes from Clifton Suspension Bridge on the M5 motorway, or 30 minutes from Ashton Gate Stadium on the A370.

Opportunities for General Practitioners and Advanced Nurse Practitioners at 168 Medical Group
GPs – Salaried or Partnership considered
4 – 8 sessions available per week
For GPs, we have well-established processes to reduce the amount of administration GPs need to do, for example, we optimise our workflow so the amount of clinical letters you need to review is reduced. We are also about to embark on a pathology optimisation project which aims to safely reduce the amount of pathology a GP needs to process.
Advanced Nurse Practitioner
Part or Full-Time considered
We have teams of highly skilled clinical and non-clinical staff providing high-quality care to our patients. Supporting our 17 GPs we have a Pharmacist Prescriber, Pharmacy Technician, Mental Health Nurse, prescribing Paramedic, Lead Nurse plus a team of ANPs, Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants. Supporting our clinical staff are a team of named personal Administrative Assistants for each GP and ANP/Paramedic, a Management Team and other administrative support.
